Molly and Bill Whalen, Team Captains of The Real Estate Leader of Sun Realty, are real estate professionals specializing in international and resort properties, bank owned properties including short sales and REO’s, buyer and seller counseling, real estate education, and other real estate investment/recreational opportunities throughout Southwest Florida.  As self-proclaimed "Knowledge Junkies", Molly and Bill have earned a list of designations associated with their REALTOR® licenses.As Real Estate Leaders, Molly and Bill help you navigate through the many options, dangers, and pitfalls that can occur during AND after a real estate transaction.

Molly and Bill began their real estate career in the 70’s, both purchasing multi unit properties in the State of Massachusetts, United States.  They recognized the long term benefits of real estate and how it could contribute to their life goals and long term plans. While in Massachusetts, the Whalen’s managed as many as 11 rental units at any given time, while maintaining full time careers.

In the early 90’s Molly and Bill recognized the real estate opportunities of the Southwest Florida Market, and expanded their real estate portfolio to include a variety of products in the Naples area.  When Bill retired in 2003 after serving as a Police Sergeant for 32 years, Molly and Bill packed their belongings and made Naples, Florida their permanent home.

With a diverse background that includes a BA in education, and a commitment to non-profits, Molly’s professional career includes working with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, American Airlines Celebrity Events including their Celebrity Ski event to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the Celebrity Golf event to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  Just prior to relocating to Naples, as Student Activities Coordinator, Molly worked at Milton Academy, the sister school of Harvard University an independent college preparatory K-12 school, boarding and day in grades 9-12, located south of Boston. 

Their goal is to provide first time home buyers, second home buyers or vacation and investment buyers with the knowledge on how to make informed decisions in today's real estate market.  Ultimately, their vision is: “Empowering people of all financial levels with the knowledge and skills necessary to own a home. Our PASSION is for PEOPLE – not for sales.”
